Thank you for updating your blog Jonathan, some girls realy do appreciate it when you open doors for them, however, there are a lot of them that will instantly develope a crush on you but, alas! that has always been so. Too bad we aren't a more mature sex, aye? Dont worry, I am sure that there are a few mature girls out there and you will eventually meet one, right?

dude not all girls are like that, for one I am not. duh. I would rather have someone open the door for me then open it myself. But that does not mean I am going to have a crush on you. ok well I have to go. bye.

woa!! man, like, whoever says that when i guy opens a door girls get a crush on them????? come on!!!! i just like being treated like a girl!!

12:42 PM
Blogger Jane said...

Well, that's retarded! Oh, not to you, Beth. (sorry)I mean about the whole crush thing. But I believe it's true. In fact, I think I may have known a couple of girls like that a while ago...

Yer, I know gentlemen, but it was way more fun to do that.

Blogger Jonathan M said...

Well to tell you the truth, anonymous, that's very cheering news, because guys like to have some sort of appreciation...even if it's a crush. :-p Perhaps we're the not-so-mature ones.

Jon you have quite the scence of humer. All you girls that protested, take a realy hot man and take him through a public school and have him open the doors for the girls and then listen to their conversation later! I would love it if you would prove me wrong.

Blogger Jane said...

Like I said, I agree with you. It happens a lot, but I still think it's dumb. A simple "Thank you, Matthew." and maybe a smile works just fine. Girls should appreciate it, but don't take things to any extremes.

12:28 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

yah. ok. maybe in out day an age. i couldn't tell you though, cuz i'm homeschooled. :P

Well I wouldn't be to hard on the girls. Sometimes guys can be just as 'inmature'. Like a girl smiles at him and he takes it to heart.

Its also nice to know there are some mature girls out there too.

manly men, eh? I prefer to use gentlemen, heh. Nonetheless, I suppose "manly men" will do as well.

Opening doors and what-not.
It seems like a common curtesy that happens very rarely nowadays. You can observe the character of people by how they react to opening doors/having doors opened for them. It gives me a gleam of hope that there are still people out there willing to do such a simple act of kindness.

Thank you Anna, for visiting our blog. As for the manly men and Gentlemen they are interchangable and you may use whatever is more to your liking. :)

Were you talking about your picture?? And I agree... some girls DO develop instant crushes on guys because they opened the door for them... I should know, I used to!! But not any more!!! I think Mikey's picture is a cheesecake of sorts.:D

I have a Canon Powershot A530...there used to be 5 of us here, but then one of us deleted the blog and it's been *sniff* downhill from there.

12:45 PM
Blogger Anna Grace said...

Ah. A Canon powershot A530 is barely different. I orginally asked for that one but the store we looked in only had the A540. So, I settled for that. They're barely different.

*sigh* All most all of our snow has melted all ready. I live in MD and in this particular area snow is a rare occurance.

Hmm. So, do ya'll know each other?

I'm sorry! I never meant to make anyone cry! But eating icecream in memory of me is awefully sweet. (I love icecream for those of you who don't know.)

Hopefully I'll be going on vacation in June! For a wedding. And then in July, too. For another wedding! We could actually use some prayer for that. I don't know if we'll have the funding to be able to drive to Vegas and back twice this summer. But if we do go, I'll make sure to tell ya, Chris.

Ruth, I never went to the beach without you! Well, except for the time we took Matthew and Sarah with us when Jamie was here. Is that what you're talking about?

10:32 AM

I'm not sure I would call a wedding a vacation but if thats what you like go for it. :)I'll be glad to eat the ice cream.
